TapBudget Terms of Service
Effective date: July 21, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TapBudget ("the App"), developed by ReleaseGrid ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Using TapBudget
TapBudget is a manual budgeting tool. You enter your own income, transactions, and savings goals; the App does not connect to any bank, card, or financial institution and does not verify the accuracy of anything you enter. Figures such as "Total Remaining" and "safe-to-spend" are calculated only from the data you provide.
No Financial Advice
TapBudget is provided for personal budgeting and informational purposes only. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make about spending or saving based on the App are your own responsibility.
Your Data
Transactions and savings goals you create are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device if you want to preserve this data; we do not maintain a copy of it and cannot recover it if it is lost. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.
Back Tap Feature
Quick entry via iOS Back Tap depends on system accessibility settings and hardware behavior outside our control. We do not guarantee that Back Tap will register every gesture or that it will be available on every device or iOS version.
"As Is" and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any financial decisions made using it.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
