Pedometer II ("the App") is developed by ReleaseGrid ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.
Information We Collect
Pedometer II is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not require account creation, and we do not collect your name, email address, or location.
- Motion & fitness data: the App uses your device's built-in motion sensors (such as the pedometer/step counter and accelerometer) to count steps, estimate distance, and calculate calories burned. This data is processed and stored locally on your device.
- Apple Health / Google Fit sync: if you choose to enable this feature, the App reads step and activity data from, and/or writes step and activity data to, Apple Health or Google Fit, using the permissions you grant through your device's operating system. You can revoke this access at any time in your device's Health/Fit or app permission settings.
How We Use Information
Motion and fitness data is used solely to provide the App's core functionality: displaying your step count, distance, and activity trends to you within the App. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
Data Storage & Sharing
Step and motion data collected by the App is stored locally on your device and, if you enable Health/Fit sync, within Apple Health or Google Fit under your control. We do not operate servers that receive or store your step or fitness data, and we do not share this data with any third party.
Your Choices
You can disable motion & fitness sensor access or Health/Fit sync at any time through your device's Settings app. Disabling these permissions may limit or disable the App's core step-tracking features.
Children's Privacy
Pedometer II does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect personal information at all, it may be used by a general audience in accordance with applicable app store guidelines.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
