Who Can Use SweatHearts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, and you need an Apple or Google account to sign in. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Pacts and Stakes

A pact is an agreement between you and one partner: a weekly workout target and a stake that the partner who falls short owes the other. The App tracks that agreement and reports the result of each week. It does not move money, hold funds, or enforce anything. Stakes are settled between the two of you, offline and on trust, and any dispute about a stake is between you and your partner. Weeks are scored Monday to Sunday and settle at the start of Monday.

Photo Proof and Your Content

Logging a workout requires two photos taken in the App. You keep ownership of the photos, captions, and comments you create. You grant us the limited permission needed to store them and to show them to your pact partner inside the App: nothing more. We do not use your photos for marketing or publish them anywhere.

You are responsible for what you photograph. Do not capture other people without their consent, and do not upload content that is unlawful, abusive, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break this rule.

The App shows a photo timestamp taken at capture and does not allow gallery imports or backdating. That makes proof harder to fake, but it is not a guarantee of authenticity, and we do not verify that any workout actually took place.

Your Partner

Pairing with someone gives them ongoing visibility into what you log. Only pair with someone you trust. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what a partner can see.

Not Fitness or Medical Advice

SweatHearts is a motivation and accountability tool. It does not provide fitness, medical, or nutritional advice, and it does not prescribe or supervise exercise. Exercise carries risk. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a routine, and stop if something hurts. Do not use the App while driving or anywhere that taking photos would be unsafe or prohibited.

Subscriptions

SweatHearts offers two auto-renewing subscriptions. Both unlock the same full access for you and your pact partner:

• Weekly — $6.99 per week
• Annual — $39.99 per year, including a 1-week free trial for new subscribers

Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region; the price shown in the App at the time of purchase is the price that applies. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your App Store account settings after purchase. If you take a free trial, any unused portion of it is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.

Availability and Your Data

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App. We make reasonable efforts to keep your data available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that data will never be lost. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which removes your account record, your workouts and their photos, and the comments you have written.

“As Is” and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including injury sustained while exercising, disputes with your partner, unsettled stakes, or lost or delayed data.

Apple

These Terms are between you and ReleaseGrid, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, and consumer protection claims, or any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
